Child Accra is not just a world class medical clinic providing 24 hour professional family health care including medical triage, travel medicine and lifestyle management services to registered patients. We are a whole body and community wellness center. We treat the individual, the family and the community. Here at Child Accra our vision is to cultivate a healthier West Africa by providing quality health care to families, empowering our patients to be better consumers of health care; making available educational tools that are often only considered of use to those outside of West Africa, and being health care leaders in the community.

Child Accra also offers an onsite dental clinic, laboratory service, pharmacy and medical diagnostic services.The clinic accepts most international and domestic medical insurances and remains a partner to the West Africa Rescue Association (WARA). In 2006, Child & Associates began with the idea that a first rate, health center could be built and established in Accra. This is where it all began. Our promise to you is that you will always receive the highest quality care service because your health and well being are our main concerns. Our goal is to keep you healthy and feeling in tip top shape. We do this with world class trained professionals in their field of practice.

Beyond the Nets

We say “it takes more than nets to fight malaria”. In 2011, we introduced our malaria awareness campaign, product sales and improved treatment services. In Ghana 44% of reported outpatient hospital visits are malaria related and 36–40% of malaria cases are in children under the age of 5 and 22% of these result in death.

Maternal & Child Health Institute, Accra.

In 2010 Child Accra expanded to include patient education. In keeping with our mission to treat health in a Wholistic manner the Maternal Child Health Institute developed with our first parenting workshop. Since then we have provided services and consultations not only to our patients but to a number of schools, health clinics, hospitals in Ghana and other parts of West Africa. We educate at all levels with coordination occurring in the Maternal Child Health Institute. Here is where we provide patient support and education, service provider training and public health research. We help educators and service-providers create strategies for curricula; health promotion tools and messages focused on parents and families.
